Healing Thresholds is currently run by a small and dedicated team.

Lara Pullen, Ph.D. - CEO

Lara is a former research scientist in the field of immunology. She has been a medical writer since 1999 and has written on a wide range of topics from Alzheimer's disease to diabetes. She is the mother of three children, the youngest of whom has Prader-Willi Syndrome.

 

Alan Rosenblatt, M.D., F.A.A.P. - Senior Medical Advisor

Alan is a specialist in neurodevelopmental pediatrics who practices in the Chicago area. He is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine and sits on the American Academy of Pediatrics expert panel on autism. He is the father of two young children.

 

Scottie Kersta-Wilson - Editor-in-Chief

Scottie has been writing and editing Web-based training and content for 11 years. In addition to her prodigious writing and editing skills, she has her MFA in photography and computer imaging. She has been involved with medical and caregiver communities since her first job in 1975.

 

Barb Miles - Chief Operating Officer

Barb has extensive experience managing projects and developing processes to meet business needs. Her organizational skills and attention to detail help maintain many aspects of Healing Thresholds.

 

Marisa Naujokas, Ph.D. - Senior Science Writer

Marisa is a scientist who has done research in immunology and cell biology. She brings her scientific perspective and her powerful communication skills to both written and verbal communication of scientific information for a variety of audiences. She is a parent of twins in middle school.

 

Dan Kohn - Technical Advisor

Dan began his career as founder and CEO of NetMarket, one of the first Internet companies. In 2006 Dan became COO of the Linux Foundation. Prior to that, he helped to create numerous low cost, high impact startups that use advertising funded Web sites to provide compelling services to niche markets. Dan is the father of a young son.
