It was a cold day in the Windy City and temps at Soldier Field were in the mid-40s; however, Team Healing Thresholds was out in full force - our 15 walkers collected almost $2,000 in support of Autism Speaks/Cure Autism Now. The Healing Thresholds booth was the place to be: our children's mask-making activity was a huge success and after each of 200 kids finished creating his or her personal mask, they took up making brightly colored bookmarkers. For the adults who stopped by, they were treated to an on-the-spot demonstration of www.HealingThresholds.com and how it can help them find treatments and therapies for their children with autism and bond with other parents in the online community. We can hardly wait until next year!
