My adult son has had excema as a child. As an adult he is in intense pain his skin is covered in sores his limbs are swollen he has night sweats and sheds skin so badly I wash his sheets everyday and vacuum sometimes 3 times daily. We have tried every treatment available the hospital refuses to give him allergy tests. He has had a severe reaction to prednisone which creates a fungal infection. The doctor kicked him out of the hospital cos he refused to take prednisone he has been on it for 20 years on and off. It has made no differance in the last 20 years. There is nothing out there that works.
