At the SPEAC Centre in Belfast, six young boys with autism are receiving one-on-one therapy in the form of applied behavior analysis (ABA). The Special Provision for Education for Autistic Children (SPEAC) has modeled their center on Treehouse, a school in the United Kingdom that adopted home-based ABA into a school setting. The youngsters have improved social, communication, and physical skills.
