Auditory Integration Training as Therapy for Autism

Auditory Integration Training (AIT), an alternative therapy for children with autism, was developed by Dr. Guy Berard in France in the 60s. This therapy is used to "normalize hearing," which it is felt will help with behavioral issues and communication. It is now used and known by other names: Tomatis Method, Earobics, and Fast Forword.
