Autism Center Opens its Door to Families

The Autism Center of Pittsburgh in McCandless celebrated the opening of a suite of rooms designated as a single location for a broad range of services for children with autism and their families. Cindy Waeltermann, the center director, designed the center as an off-shoot of the 7-year old, non-profit AutismLink.

As the mother of children with autism, she understands the families' need for services for their children and services for themselves, most particularly, financial, but also assistance through the maze of early intervention services.
