Caring for Children with Autism in West Virginia

The Blue Ridge Autism Center (BRAC) in West Virginia currently serves children with autism from ages 2-12 before middle and high school mainstreaming or private schooling. BRAC uses applied behavior analysis (ABA) as the foundation of its programming. In addition to one-on-one intervention with the children, BRAC trains teachers at local schools on how to work with their students who have autism. Rounding out their community involvement, BRAC utilizes interns from nearby colleges who get hands-on training in ABA therapy.
