The Children's Institute in Pittsburgh plans a first of its kind toxin-free pediatric clean room to help treat the symptoms of autism. The room is designed for one child at a time and will be free of chemicals and pollutants; there would be an airlock to ensure an environmentally safe environment. The clean room therapy will include nutritional supplements and a special diet. There will be educational and play areas for the child, parents, teachers, and therapists.
