The Community Opportunity for Vocational Experience (COVE) has opened a new community-integrated location in Paradise, California. While COVE is aimed at 18-64 year olds with autism and other disabilities, their venue is a compilation of therapies found useful for autism. The computer-cafe provides Internet access, the Snoezelen theory of sensory learning, a water fountain for optic learning, and a variety of sensory stations including a movie screen for educational programs. There will be opportunities for social interaction between participants of COVE and the community at large.
