Early Intervention Program Tackles Developmental Delays

Kentucky preschools provide early intervention with a focus on children's ability to communicate. Three and four year olds with developmental delays or autism learn through speech and language therapy to express themselves. At Hardin County Preschool, the children "squished their feet into grapes, mud, oatmeal, paint, and other materials." The kids then talked about what it felt like and whether or not they liked it.
