Eden Institute uses Special Olympics to Help its Residents

Eden Institute in NJ has established group homes for individuals with autism. The family life experienced in the community-based group home setting translates into increased speech and social interaction. Many of the residents participate in Special Olympics. Sports is another way in which the residents learn team play, get physically fit, and show the rest of their community how successful their lives with autism can be.
