The Corning-Painted Post Area School District in NY planned a night at the movies for families and their children with autism. The organizers were careful to take into account the needs of the children, for example, the movie lights and volume were adjusted and there was a sensory room for children experiencing difficulties. Kids with autism, their siblings, and parents got to see two movies and eat popcorn!
