Karen Carmeli is a Texas mom who spends a good portion of her day taking care of her son with autism. She wanted some help in organizing their day, and she enjoys iPad features. She bought a book on app development and created My Autism Day. The app functions as a scheduler for busy parents. It tracks therapy appointments, nutrition, health, activities, and her son’s behavior. My Autism Day was recently approved by Apple and can be purchased on iTunes for $9.99. Carmeli said, “All the input I get, I have one place to put it. I don’t have to remember where I put a paper. It’s really easy access.”
