Mom Uses Internet and Other Resources to Find Therapies for Her Child with Autism

When Teresa Summers learned her son had autism, she used the Internet and as many other resources as she could find to look for treatments. This Michigan mom determined that for her son, a gluten-free diet, casein-free diet, nutritional supplements, and one-on-one behavior therapy were the most useful interventions. She has since taken her knowledge and willingness to help other parents to work at the Judson Center. Here's what she tells those parents, "Become your child's advocate. Trust your instincts. And never ever give up hope."
