Opening Day for Sports Therapy Baseball Team

The Yankee Doodles, a baseball team made up of children with autism, will enjoy Opening Day in Port Washington, NY. Parents of children with autism saw a need for athletic and sports therapy for their children, so they created the Children's Athletic Enrichment (CAE) program. They are using applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and baseball to teach social interaction, gross and fine motor skills, and hopefully mainstream the children into regular athletic programs.
