The Barney family, in West Virginia, along with their son Daniel's teachers, are learning therapies and strategies to help with Daniel's autism. Daniel currently communicates best with his Doodle Pro; he can write and draw his thoughts in order to communicate. One resource in WV for support as well as therapies including sensory integration is the Autism Training Center at Marshall University. Their goal is to offer education and support to parents, teachers, and friends of children with autism.
