Parents Create a School Where There is None

When parents in Florida couldn't get appropriate schooling for their children with autism, they created Concerned Parents of Autistic Children. While the house they've leased is a combination of education and therapy, they soon hope their "school" will be licensed. The parents intend to provide therapies as individual as the children they serve, including applied behavior analysis (ABA). The parents also believe that "the school will be a place where parents are viewed as partners, not antagonists - where education is transparent."
