Parents' Resource for Autism Pursues Creative Outlets for Their Children

Parents' Resource for Autism (PR4A) in Malaysia is determined to give their children with autism a creative outlet along with their other therapies. PR4A parents engage their children in autism treatments that include applied behavior analysis (ABA) and daily-living skills like walking the dog, and mediated learning therapy. This parent support group has found that their children also desire creative outlets for art, crafts, and music when their school-day is over. Their goal is to build a creative center where "people with autism can channel their energy and time."
