The Phoenix Purple course developed at City College Norwich in the UK is geared toward meeting social, educational, and behavioral needs of students with Asperger's. While students receive one-on-one assistance with social skills and job training, the main hangout is the RUG room. It was initially designed as a place where students could relax, but has grown into a space where students safely share social interaction, lunchtime clubs, and evening entertainment.
