Phoenix Zoo Home to New Equine Therapy Program

Arizona State University (ASU) students were key in building the Hunkapi Horse Program created at the Phoenix zoo. This equine therapy (hippotherapy) program is part of the ASU Alternative Intervention Research Clinic for children with autism. Hippotherapy, using the movement of a horse provides social skills and physical activity.
