The Dr. Romanov Center in St. Petersburg Russia has helped kids with autism and other developmental delays since 1989. One of the expatriates who works with the Russians at the Center, Anna Jackson-Stevens, was interviewed for this article. She explained that the Center includes families in the therapy process so that the child can continue at home, allowing the Center to accept new children all the time. The therapies focus on life skills and integrating children into more social situations.
