Saturdays in Motion Involve Kids with Autism and Their Siblings

Art Raynes started Saturdays in Motion at his local YMCA in New Jersey, to get his son with autism involved in swimming and recreation. Sixteen years later, the program involves siblings of children with autism and local high school volunteers. The program provides swimming, physical exercise, balance therapy, and tumbling for the children while increasing social interaction with their peers.
