School in Malaysia Launches Sensory Integration Room

SK Sri Kelana School in Malaysia, recently launched a sensory integration room in conjunction with the Petaling District Special Education Indoor Games 2007. While some students competed in games (carrom, checkers, and congkak), other children with autism used equipment (linear glider) in the sensory integration room as therapy to work on balance and sensory-motor skills.
