Uttarayan, a day and residential facility in India for children with autism and other developmental disabilities, celebrated its 22nd year with a student production of The Pied Piper of Hamlin. At Uttarayan, children learn to develop self-sufficiency in every day skills. In addition, they learn reading, writing, and math. To ensure well rounded development and increased social skills, children learn yoga, music, and drama. Graduates of the facility have used their vocational training to work at mainstream jobs.
