The Book on Picky Eaters: A Mom Gets Her Son to Eat Healthy

Sandra Mungro King, a Pennsylvania mother of a child with autism, has just published a children's book called "French Fries Please!" This book is the first of a four-part series in which she writes about getting her son to eat healthier foods.

The National Institute of Mental Health states, "Many ASD children are highly attuned or even painfully sensitive to certain sounds, textures, tastes and smells." The only food Mungro King's son can eat without anxiety is french fries, and he's particular about which kind. Mungro King firmly believes that diet affects behavior and activity levels.
