Many people with autism suffer from anxiety. Children with Asperger's syndrome are even more likely to have anxiety than children with autism. Adults with autism often have increased stress, anxiety, panic attacks and fear of crowds. The authors suggest that doctors questions parents about any signs of anxiety in their children with autism.
