Layperson Summary:

Computer systems may make it possible for families to reach more autism experts at less expense and with a shorter wait time.

This paper describes a computer system for sharing video information about patients with autism. Many parents have to wait 3-6 months to see an autism expert. The child may then need many visits with the experts over a long period of time. The authors hope that this system will help with diagnosis and treatment by letting experts "see" more patients. The system would also make it so that experts could see videos o the child at school.
